Document Description
The Project involves utility relocation, the replacement of the existing State Route 58 bridge over Trout Creek, the recontouring of two roadside drainage ditches outside of the stream, and the replacement of armoring within the stream. This Major Amendment No. 1 amends the Streambed Alteration Agreement to reflect design changes to the temporary water diversion, the construction of a single-lane detour road, and a change in the timing of activities.

The Project will occur in the Trout Creek channel near where it flows towards the Salinas River beneath State Route 58 approximately two miles east of the town of Santa Margarita, San Luis Obispo County. The Project involves construction within the banks of the channel along a 315-foot reach of Trout Creek and outside of the stream - including 426 feet of drainage ditches parallel to the road along State Route 58. The Project Site is located within Section 21, Township 29 South, Range 13 East, Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian
