Document Description
A site plan to allow for an on-site private railroad extension for the Cemex cement plant that will provide upgraded connections to the existing BNSF railroad system. Cemex construction materials pacific LLC plans on constructing an additional section of track to complete the northern portion of the loop tracks for which the southern areas were approved by the city on March 23, 2017 as a minor plan ADM16-0092. The phase 1 area is within an industrial area. The phase 2 portion of the new track will be approx 1,780 ft in length and the fill, grading, and construction with averages up to 75 ft wide. The track will be built on an elevated roadbed so that it can connect to the BNSF mainline. Construction of the roadbed will affect approx 3 acres and take about two months.
