The purpose of the Project is to reduce the number of collisions by eliminating the existing lane drop in the northbound direction, extend the second lane in the southbound direction, improve the lane assignment from El Toro Road onto State Route 133 (SR-133), and modify Laguna Canyon Creek to reduce the flooding threat along SR-133.
