The Project involves the replacement of culverts at Location 2 and Location 3, and culvert repair at Location 4 and Location 11 as part of a larger capital maintenance project occurring along State Route 41 between Post Mile D0.63, and Post Mile D1 .84 in Madera County; and Post Mile 0.10, and Post Mile 4.85 in Mariposa County. This Major Amendment No. 1 amends the Agreement reflecting changes to the planned replacement of culverts at Location 2 and Location 3, and makes associated changes pertaining to Project Impacts.

The Project will occur at culverts which channel surface water flows in unnamed tributaries beneath State Route 41 to the Lewis Fork Creek subwatershed, respectively. The culvert locations were designated Location 2, Location 3, Location 4, and Location 11 by Caltrans, and are lqcated at Post Mile 0.22 and Post Mile 2.65 in Mariposa County and Post Mile D0.68 and Post Mile D0.71 in Madera County.
