The applicant is proposing to construct (1) lined four foot deep evaporation pond (737'x150') at an existing aquaculture (algae) harvesting for Spirulina. The discharged water would remain in the pond until full evaporation and would not penetrate soils or waterways. The excavated dirt would be used to create berms around the proposed pond and to backfill an existing pond within the property.
