Document Description
Construction and operation of joint use fields at two District school sites, Cubberly Elementary and Encanto ES. Each project would entail the installation of a new natural turf field and a stabilized walking track that would provide new recreational space for students and residents at each site. A joint use agreement would be executed between the District and the city's park and recreation department that specifies details of the use. The fields would be constructed with bond funding from the district's proposition Z, while the city would commit to operate and maintain the facilities. The proposed project does not include the installation of lighting; accordingly, fields would not be used between dusk and dawn.
