Document Description
CUP No. 2017-023 proposes a program of primitive, wilderness camping on a 314 acre parcel portion of the 524 acre Trabucco Ranch Preserve. The proposed project proposes low-impact camping activities with education and exposure of the public to the foothill ranchland culture, which will be in collaboration with the Sierra Foothill Conservancy. The proposed use is similar but much less intensive than a guest ranch, which is listed as a CU in the Mountain General Zone. The project parcel is 314 acres and located at 7040 Highway 49N, Mariposa. The project proposes the following: 8-12 campsites for canvas tents for 10-24 customers.
