- The proposed project would renovate an existing four-story, 26,967 GSF shell of a building (Building D) to provide laboratories, offices, and classrooms for the CMBC on the SIO campus. In addition, a portion of the project site (a concrete slab previously known as Building A) would include a two-story addition totaling approximately 10,494 GSF. This addition would include a 100-seat lecture room, 30-seat conference room, visualization exhibit, and a teaching kitchen. A cafe with an outdoor shaded terrace and seating would also be included on the second floor. Additional improvements to the project site would include the provision of approximately 58 parking spaces, an open space.
