Document Description
The proposed project would renovate an existing four-story, 26,967 gsf shell of a building to provide laboratories, offices, and classrooms for the CMBC on the SIO campus. In addition, a portion of the project site would include a two-story addition totaling approx 15,147 gsf. This addition would include a lecture room/event space, conference room, visualization center, and a catering kitchen. A cafe with an outdoor shaded terrace and seating would also be included on the second floor. Additional improvements to the project site would include the provision of approx 62 parking spaces, an open space terrace on the western side of the buildings, landscaping, and improvements to the Coastal Trail network.
