Document Description
The project site is located at the Southern terminus of Encinas Dr. The site is currently an undeveloped, dry creek channel that generally slopes uphill to the south and is heavily vegetated. The City proposes construction of an earthen desilting basin and concrete spillway within the 29,300-square foot project site. The area of the proposed desilting basin would be approximately 8,2000 square feet and would have a total storage capacity of 850 cubic yards. The basin would serve to reduce the flows and trap sediment before delivery to Padre Trail. The project would include installation of a concrete access apron, a manual swing gate and pole fencing around the parameter.
