Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0158-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Town of Los Gatos.
The Project is located on the south bank of an unnamed channel. There are two sections of an existing wooden walkway (asphalt paved) along the channel which is held over the channel bank by piers with concrete footings. The eastern walkway is 50 feet long and the western walkway is 115 feet long. The existing piers, concrete footings, and walkway will be removed. These will be replaced by a concrete underground support and concrete cantilever sidewalk which will extend over the channel bank, similar to the previous walkway, but will not need within-bank pier supports. The concrete supports will be entirely underground and the channel banks will be not be disturbed. There is an existing asphalt concrete sidewalk, between the two pier supported walkways. This will be replaced with a new concrete sidewalk. All Project sidewalks will have the same length and width of the existing sidewalk. An existing 12-inch diameter metal storm water pipe will be replaced with a plastic pipe of the same diameter. An existing storm water inlet measuring approximately 2 feet by 3 feet will be replaced with a new inlet of the same dimensions.
