Caltrans proposes an immediate repair of a slope failure and a landslide on SR 4 at PM 27.6 and on SR 89 at PM 5.36 in Alpine County, resulting from a recent storm. The purpose of the project is to maintain highway safety. The need of this project is to immediately stabilize the slopes and protect the traveled way from further structural failure.
