Document Description
The habitat restoration project will include the eradication of a highly invasive sea lavender within the Carpinteria Salt Marsh. Approx 2.5 acres of saltmarsh habitat will be treated for a period of five years by manual removal in sensitive habitat areas and solarization or herbicide application in areas with no sensitive resources. The goal of the project is to restore saltmarsh habitat by removing a detrimental high-priority invasive plant species.
