Due to drought conditions, dead and dying trees threaten the Soulsbyville Ditch with significant damage if left to fall on their own. Water from the Soulsbyville Ditch serves a population of roughly 1,000 people. Trees will be removed to benefit and safeguard the water infrastructure for the community.

Categorical: 15303, 15304 Project is exempt by Governor Brown's 10-30-2015 Emergency Proclamation for dead/dying tree removal in High Hazard Zones 15269 and for general emergency 20808(b)(4). Exemptions also apply for 15303 and 15304 including modification of small structures and minor alterations of land.
