The project includes activities related to the restoration of an approximately 20-acre site on the north side of Woodward Park within the floodplain of the San Joaquin River. Activities include removal of invasive grasses and forbs, installation of irrigation, and planting of native trees and shrubs within an approx. 20-acre parcel, mowing the surrounding open space area, and drafting up to 800 gallons per minute from the San Joaquin River toirrigate planting. No trees or shrubs will be removed, and no signifcant environmental impacts will result if the project is completed under the protective features included in Streamved Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0017-R4.
