Document Description
The City of Newman proposes a traffic improvement project at the intersection of SR 33 and Inyo Ave. in the City of Newman at PM 0.5. The scope of work includes roadway resurfacing and reconstruction; intersection widening; and the installation of underground conduits for future intersection control measures, traffic signals, and coordination systems. A portion of the work shall occur within Caltrans right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to modernize and enhance the traffic operations within the intersection. The need of the project is to widen the existing intersection to improve truck turning radii as well as provide the necessary improvements for future work.
