Document Description
Department of Fish and Wildlife is proposing to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0278-R5. The Applicant proposes to hand clear vegetation along a 12 foot wide path parallel to the toe of the slope (at the channel invert) to allow for visual inspection. In addition, maintenance work would include removing sediment, debris, trash and vegetation from storm drain outlets to prevent, or alleviate, nuisance ponding conditions, vector control issues, or to return storm drain outfall capacity to design conditions. Outlet cleaning shall be limited to the area defined by the current riprap and concrete apron associated with the outlet. The clearing of vegetation and removal of sediment may be conducted with the use of small equipment (backhoe, skiploader) or by hand.
