In addition, maintenance work would include removing sediment, debris, trash and vegetation from storm drain outlets to prevent, or alleviate, nuisance ponding conditions, vector control issues, or to return storm drain outfall capacity to design conditions. Outlet cleaning shall be limited to the area defined by the current riprap and concrete apron associated with the outlet. The clearing of vegetation and removal of sediment may be conducted with the use of small equipment (backhoe, skiploader) or by hand.
