The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to Dylan O. Burge pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for a project to quantify genetic relationships among individual plants and populations of El Dorado bedstraw (Galium californicum subsp. sierrae). Project activities include obtaining DNA from sampled plant tissues to develop a panel of genetic markers that can differentiate populations and individual plants. Twelve El Dorado bedstraw individuals will be sampled at each population, including populations on California Department of Fish and Wildlife land.
