Document Description
Install boxes to house bells for use by mountain bikers as safety precautions within Folsom Lake State Recreation to enhance safety for trail walkers and bikers. The bell box locations include the Granite Bay Multi-Use Trail at the north end of Granite Bay near the park entrance, the Sweetwater Creek Trail at salmon Falls parking lot, and the Darrington Trail trailhead. Work will: - Dig one (1) 18" wide by 24" deep post hole at each of the four (4) locations; - Set a single 4" by 4" x 10" redwood post in each hole, pour a concrete footing and backfill/top with excavation spoils; and - Construct one (1) approximately 30" wide x 10" deep x 18" tall wooden bell house on each post and fasten ADA compliant signage to post.
