Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0230-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to William Hay Jr., representing Point Arena Water Works, Inc. The project involves removal of a new gravel bar on the main stem Garcia River; placement of the removed gravel along with clean fill into an eroded ravine near the Point Arena Water Works well #2; rock armoring and bioengineering the mouth of the ravine; and revegetating the project site. Some vegetation removal will be required and a temporary ramp may be needed. All disturbed areas above ordinary high water line will be treated for erosion control.
