The recipient will develop their Smart Power Integrated Node system. SPIN is a grid-tied control algorithm that integrates plug-in electric vehicle direct current fast charging, PV inverters, stationary battery storage, and local energy and power management systems. Successful integration of SPIN will accelerate zero-net energy building adoption and provide greater distributed energy resource control options for electric utilities.
