Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0399-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Henry Belmonte The project is limited to the construction of a single span 29-foot long by 10-foot wide pedestrian bridge. The Project will provide access to an existing gravel parking area. The superstructure will consist of steel I-beams spanning the channel. The bridge will be constructed on concrete spread footing located approximately 8-12 feet back from top of bank. The concrete abutments are 14 feet long by 4 feet wide by 3 feet deep. The approximate area of permanent impact is 112 square feet and total volume of material excavated for both abutments is approximately 12.4 cubic yards. The area of temporary impacts is approximately 80 square feet. The abutment forms and reinforcing steel will be prefabricated off-site and then set in place with concrete. Work will be conducted when the channel is dry. No trees will be removed as a result of this project. Areas disturbed by Project activities will be reseeded with native grass seed.
