Document Description
After eradicated from CA in the 1970s, in March 2017, a nutria, an invasive mammal regulated by both CDFW and CDFA, was captured in Merced County. To prevent further degradation to aquatic habitats, vegetation, and agriculture, surveys for additional nutria and potentially subsequent eradication efforts, will be conducted.
