Document Description
Project will conduct geotechnical investigations at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park to identify the soil conditions at the proposed location for a new entrance station. A geotechnical consultant will: Observe existing site conditions, Core drill in two (2) locations with a truck-mounted 6 inch auger into the soil a depth of 10 to 15 feet or to the point of refusal, Record the soils conditions found for future analysis, Backfill the holes with soil cuttings, and Spread excess soil cuttings in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways.
