Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to correct the bridge profiles south of the NB/SB Duck Slough Overflow Bridges (Br. No. 39-0244 L/R) on State Route 99 in Merced County. The scope of work includes cold planning concrete pavement on traveled ways and outer shoulder; cold planing AC pavement on inner shouolders; and the installation of concrete or AC overlay. All work will occur within Caltrans right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to eliminate the sagging roadway profiles of the bridges, and the need of the project is to ensure the safety and integrity of the traveled way.
