- Document Description
- The city proposes to restore an approx ten-acre complex of wetlands associated with Jacoby Creek adjacent to Humboldt Bay in Humboldt. While approx ten acres of earthwork is proposed, the wetland complex will have a footprint of approx 30 acres. The project area is located in the lower reaches of the Jacoby Creek watershed, a sub-watershed and tributary of Humboldt Bay. More specifically, the project area is located within the Arcata Baylands, approx 588 acres of land owned by the city for the purposes of open space, habitat restoration, and enhancement.
