CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0316-R@, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, CA State Parks. The project proposes to restore full access to the historic Bridgeport Covered Bridge by replacing the existing temporary support with a permanent stabilization design, and by providing accessibility improvements. Bridge rehabilitation work includes the removal of existing, non-historic, stabilization structures, addition of permanent stabilization measures replaced in-kind, and accessibility movements.
