Document Description
The project proposes a minor use permit to operate a dog boarding facility on APN 032-164-067-000 in Newcastle, Ca. The project proposes to replace an existing 1,728 sf portable barn with a new 2,475 sf steel building on a concrete foundation for a dog boarding facility to house up to 45 dogs. The new building will be in the same location as the existing barn, roughly in the center of the 12.3 acre parcel. A ten ft wide concrete patio and a ten foot patio cover extending from the building will be constructed on all four sides of the rectangular building. The kennel will have outdoor play areas including six dog runs. All outdoor play areas will be surrounded by a seven ft tall solid wood fence. Driveway access to the building from the end of Kellogg St will be constructed to a min width of 12 ft.
