The project involves the purchase of a no till drill (NTD) for pasture and silage field seeding. Fields that are planted with NTDs have reduced erosion, less runoff from precipitation events, and reduced GHG emissions. It also improves soil-aggregate formation, microbial activity in the soil, as well as water infiltration and storage.
