Document Description
The project is limited to preparation of the stream bed and banks to accept annual installation and removal of an irrigation water diversion gate. The streambed preparation entails removal of invasiive Himalayan blackberriers, emergent semit-aquatic vegetation such as cattails, and small (less than 1/2 inch diameter sandbar willows from the banks and the streambed of Dry Slough over a reach of approximately fifteen linear feet. The streambed and bansk would be mechanically smoothed and leveled and then a layer of gunite will be applied to the soil surface and receivers for the wooden boards of the check will be installed.
