Document Description
The replacement and extension of an existing under-sized storm drain system at the intersection of La Palma Avenue and Richfield Road and within RIchfield Road south of the intersection. The project will capture and reuse sotrm water beyond the capacity of the existing storm drain system in the La Palma Avenue and Richfield Road neighborhood with the installation of a diversion system that will transport storm water from the project area to the Orange County Water District (OCWD)'s Foster-Huckleberry REcharge Basin. The Basin has the capacity to receiv e the additional storm water from the area, up to and including a 25-ear storm event, and will allow the water to percolate into the groundwater.
