Document Description
Clear where needed, a 300-foot wide shaded fuel break along a 250-acre ridgeline within Auburn State Recreation Area to reduce hazardous fuel loads and protect property and life along the urban-wildland interface with the City of Auburn. Work will be completed by use of hand crews, biological treatment or mechanical equipment, supported by chippers and/or pile burning. All work will be completed as part of the ongoing Auburn Shaded Fuel Break Project initiated by US Bureau of Reclamation.
