Document Description
A portion of the CCF intake right wing wall has cracked and separated from the structure. DWR will remove 40ft x 60ft section of wing wall and apron that were displaced from the CCF intake structure. Install new sheet piles around the wing walls and concrete apron. All sheet piles will be left in place and cut to match the height of the existing structure. Place rock to fill the void beneath the demolished portion of the concrete apron, as well as undermined portion of left wing wall. The new concrete apron will be doweled into the competent portion of the remaining apron with rebar. Once the apron is rebuilt, 30-inch rock will be placed and graded from the downstream edge of the apron an additional 50ft into the forebay to prevent erosion and undercutting of the repaired apron.
