Document Description
The IRAW focuses on the delineation and removal of a "hot spot" in which soil is impacted with substantially higher concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in soil and soil vapor than are found in the surrounding areas of the Hammon Plating Site (Site). The project involves additional sampling to better define the soil removal area, excavation of approximately 50 cubic yards of contaminated soil, disposal of the contaminated solid at a permitted offsite disposal facility, backfilling with clean imported soil, and site restoration to its pre-removal conditions.
