Document Description
The Hollister School District is proposing to implement a phased master plan for the Sunnyslope Elementary School site to relocate and build new classrooms, a new administration and restroom building, playing fields, and new controlled access points to the campus for safety and security. Sunnyslope Elementary School has 47 existing classrooms. The first phase of the master plan includes implementation of the following: one new relocatable Administration Office/Staff Lounge; one (1) new relocatable Restroom Building; three new relocatable Transitional Kindergarten (TK)/Kindergarten (K) Classroom Buildings; 10 new relocatable first through fifth grade Classroom Buildings; a new pick-up/drop-off area; and a new fire alarm system for the campus. Phase I will add 13 classrooms to the existing 47 classrooms for a total of 60 classrooms. Phase II will consist of the demolition of 24 classrooms and new play-fields in the old building's place resulting in a total of 36 classrooms.
