Document Description
The PVRWRF SHC Storage Capacity will be provided by relining and modifying the existing fiber reinforced plastic caustic storage tanks used in the chlorine scrubber system. A new metal canopy will be constructed to provide shade and reduce chlorine decay in the SHC storage tanks. New valves and piping will be installed to connect the tanks to the new SHC feed pump skids, located inside the existing liquid chlorine storage room. One skid will contain three pumps and serve disinfection. The second skid will contain two pumps and serve the return activated sludge/waste active sludge system and pre-filter chlorination.
