Document Description
Currently there is only 1 picnic table located next to the pond at Borrego Palm Canyon Day Use Area. This pond is used by Big Horn Sheep and when people sit at the picnic table, the sheep are unable to drink. The project intends to move the picnic and day use area away from the pond to an area away from the pond to an area where people can watch the Sheep at a distance that will not disturb them. The existing picnic table will be removed and 5 new shade ramadas each with a picnic table will be installed in two separate areas.
