Document Description
The project proposes to install a wastewater force main connecting an existing HACSJ wastewater collection system, to an existing Sacramento Area Sewer District pump station located approx two miles northwest of Thornton. The length of the force main would be approx 2.2 miles. The existing lift station southwest of Thornton would be modified to allow the pumping of wastewater flows to the SASD pump station. Upon completion of these improvements, an existing Imhoff tank and evaporation/percolation pond would be taken out of service and are proposed for removal.
