Document Description
The existing approx. 60-mile power transmission system is located in the western Sierras and the communities of Palermo, Honcut, Tierra Buena, Yuba City, East Marysville, Linda, Olivehurst, Plumas Lake, Rio Oso, and East Nicolaus, tranversing Yuba, Sutter, and Butte Counties. The proposed pole reinforcement project would improve reliability, ensure the system has adequate capacity to meet local needs, and be designed to accomodate future operation. The majority of the existing towers are proposed to be replaced with a combination of hybrid poles and tubular steel poles. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25-year General Lease - Right - of - Way Use through August 22, 2043.
