The Project will take place along five segments of the existing transmission line: South of Palermo Line (approx. 38.7 miles), Palermo Sub Line Segment (Approx. 1.6 miles), Pease Sub Line Segment (approx. 5.2 miles), Bogue Sub Line Segment (approx. 6.4 miles), and Rio Oso Sub Line Segment Loop (approx. 7.6 miles). Project will result in temporary impacts to 22.119 acres of giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas) habitat and the permanently remove 0.085 acres of habitat.
