Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0274-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, PG&E Company. Five existing low-water crossings will be used to cross three streams for the South of Palermo Reconductoring Project. Ground access to this segment of the project will occur during the dry season (May 1 to October 31), at which time the crossings are likely to be dry. Matting within the existing road prism may still be required to facilitate use. Mattin would be installed using flatbed truck and front end loader. The crossings would be utilized by pickup trucks, line trucks, truck mounted drilling equipment, and cranes. Minor trimming of overhead vegetation may be necessary to allow access for construction equipment. Trimming of shrubs and overhead vegetation will result in the temporary disturbance of 0.091 acres (200 linear feet) of riparian vegetation along the existing dirt road/crossings. Project activities are scheduled to commence in May 2018 and conclude by Nov. 2018, with approx. 5 work days on the project site in order to complete project activities.
