The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has amended Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (1600-2020-0146-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. The Agreement has been amended to include activities to address unanticipated bank erosion upstream and downstream from the rock slope protection (riprap) installed near the Flood Diversion and Storage (FDS) Basin drainage outfall (i.e., 36-inch diameter pipe). The activities include removing unauthorized excess riprap from near the outfall, re-installing key rocks for riprap, adding riprap on the opposite bank around an existing dissipator, and installation of soil fabric and seeding on areas where riprap is removed.
