Document Description
The District proposes to construct a 1 million gallon welded steel tank on the project site that would meet currently health safety, and seismic standards and be a reliable and a healthy source of water for the community of Jamestown. The proposed tank will be 75-feet in diameter and 32 feet tall and will be located where a currently out of commission 180,000 gallon reservoir resides onsite. this old structure will be removed and backfilled with engineered fill before the new tank will be constructed. The project will also replace the asbestos cement water line with a 750 lineal foot, 14 inch diameter C900 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe. the existing reservoir on the site would removed the area would be regraded.
