The project includes two proposed encroachments. The first encroachment will upgrade a stream crossing. The second encroachment will upgrade a stream crossing and restore a stream impacted by the unauthorized grading of a flat and road. Work for these encroachments includes excavation, removal of the existing culverts and water lines, replacement with new culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, recontouring and revegetating impacted areas, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
