Document Description
The project is limited to three encroachments. Two encroachments will upgrade failing or
undersized stream crossings. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the failing or undersized
crossings, replacement with new properly designed crossings, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as
necessary to minimize erosion. The other encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to Dean Creek
located on an adjacent parcel (APN 223-123-001); a shared POD that serves the domestic and commercial irrigation
needs of approximately ten parcels in the vicinity. CDFW anticipates permitting the use of this shared water source under
a pending Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (LSAA #1600-2019-0733-R1). The Permittee shall cooperate with
all other diverters of this water source to achieve compliance with the measures described in that Agreement in a
coordinated fashio

Redway, County of Humboldt, State of California. The project is located in Section 9, T4S, R4E, Humboldt Base and
Meridian; in the Harris U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle; Assessor’s Parcel Number 223-123-004. The point
of diversion (POD) occurs on APN 223-124-001 at latitude 40.1182 N and longitude 123.7309 W, for use on APN 223-
123-004 (a distance of approximately 4,400-feet).
