Document Description
Project will provide approx. 195,000 gsf of academic space for departments and programs within the Divisions of Social Sciences and Arts and Humanities, including research offices, scholarly activity, graduate student offices, and conference and collaborative spaces. The project will also provide three new active learning classrooms to accommodate demand for these spaces. Adjacent the Project site, the North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood project will provide approx. 1,440,000 gsf of student housing, academic and administrative space, parking, and other uses for the Sixth College, and was approved as a separate project. Due to their adjacency, both projects were analyzed in the same EIR.
