The applicant requests design review and a coastal development permit to construct a 4,469 sf single family residence with an attached two-car carport, 614 sf second residential unit, detached two car garage, and accessory buildings including a pool house, gazebo, clock tower, handball court, cabana, water wheel, vintage cupola caboose, and covered benches. Other site improvements include a pool, spa, water features, outdoor gas fireplaces, fixed barbeque, vehicular and pedestrian access bridge, driveway gate, and four air conditioning units. The proposed elevated decking totals 3,836 sf. A net grading export of 6,662 cy is proposed. The subject property is a 13.2 acre (574,084 sf) building site with street frontage on Cerritos Dr and Morningside Dr. The applicant proposes access from Cerritos.
