Document Description
The Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy for the Tulare County regional guides the development of the Regional and Federal Transportation Improvement Programs as well as other transportation programming documents and plans. Specifically, it outlines the county's goals and policies for meeting current and future mobility needs and identifies programs, actions, and includes a plan of transportation projects intended to address these needs consistent with adopted goals and policies. The SCS included in the RTP/SCS is a strategy required by California Senate Bill 375 that demonstrated how regional greenhouse gas reduction targets for passenger vehicles.
