Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0024-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Adams and Bennet Investments, LLC. The Applicant proposes to construct and operate the Simi Valley Concrete Products Facility located on a 7.11 acre site. This includes the construction of a single dry alley plant, an additional wet alley plant, a two-story office building, and a materials storage area. There is an existing recycling operation at the project site that will be relocated or completely removed. The southern portion of the site is located in and adjacent to the Arroyo Simi and consists of ill materials placed in the arroyo at some unknown time (pre-1995). The project includes the removal and disposal of these fill materials and the restoration of the arroyo to its approx. original configuration, including re-vegetation with native species. The new arroyo embankment will result in a net increase of 1.35 acres of riparian habitat compared to the existing condition of this north bank area.
