Document Description
CDFw has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0178-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, County of Santa Cruz Parks, Open Spaces and Cultural Services. Project is limited to construction of a 120 foot by 92 foot sediment basin, which will capture sediment from upstream properties. The sediment basin will impound sediment-laden storm water and agricultural return flows, allowing sediment to settle out of suspension prior to water being discharged to Pinto Lake. Construction activities will include excavating an area for sediment storage and building an embankment by raising the existing access road to install a 46-foot-long by 48-inch diameter culvert and riser pipe.
